Clean Elections (also called Clean Money or Voter-Owned Elections) is a system of government financing of political campaigns (a form of campaign finance reform).

What is Clean Money Campaign Reform? Clean Money Campaign Reform attempts to break the hold of special interests on politics by providing candidates with a set amount of public funds to run for office.

Pushing special interest money out of the election process may do more than clean things up. It could also open the door for a variety of people who care about democracy to run for office with realistic hopes of winning.

Two or three term limit, 4 to 6 years per term, to all political offices, state and federal.  12 years maximum time in any one office. Periods of office need to be changed. Elections, one national primary, and one national general election every 4  years. No back to back holding of office. (change constitution).

How do clean elections work? Candidates of any party qualify for full public funding of their campaigns by gathering a predetermined number of signatures and small ($5-10) donations from registered voters in their districts.

Clean elections, This means elections supported and paid for by the American taxpayer. With clean elections candidates could only use, collect, or spend private funds, to the tune of $100.00 per contributor.

Equitable taxes, (flat tax, value added taxes, national sales tax.)

Biofuels; a national five year effort to develop ethanol, and biodiesel to break our dependence on middle east oil. Elect president by popular vote, eliminate electoral college.

Establish a recall procedure for each political office.

Elect or appoint federal and supreme court justices for one 12 year term. (change constitution)

Limited PACs for issues, not for candidates.

Create a "Team United States  of America", between business and labor, no more, "us  versus them" attitudes.

All qualifying candidates will receive equal funds for the office they stand for.

Each state should furnish a single web site where each candidate will have 2 to 3 pages to tell his/her story and their position on issues.

Each candidate would receive equal time on public radio and television.

All electronic voting machines will have at least 3 paper trails. One in machine, one of all machines in precinct, one of all precincts in county.

National health insurance that  covers the whole body and mental health.

A true national minimum wage that applies to all workers, both legal and illegal immigrants.

Fair trade, not globalization at the expense of American workers.

An equalization tax on exported American jobs.

A, 'we' concept between business and labor, not "us" against them.

How to foster a, “...if you don't work, you don't eat...” attitude in able bodied Americans.
